If you receive an absence text, simply click the link to provide an explanation. If you cannot access the internet from your mobile, please call the number noted above.

Collecting Students early
We understand, there are occasions when your child needs to leave school for appointments. It is important that we know in advance so we can help facilitate this for you.
Please fill in your childs student planner with the reason for them leavnig along with the time they are being collected.
Alternatively, send your student with a note or email us before the start of the school day admin@beaudesertshs.eq.edu.au
Every Day Counts
Every Day Counts is a state-wide initiative that aims to assist in improving student attendance at school. It is designed to change parent, community and student attitudes and foster a shared commitment to improving school attendance.
Every Day Counts promotes four key messages:
- All children should be enrolled at school and attend on every school day
- Schools should monitor, communicate and implement strategies to improve regular school attendance
- Truanting can place a student in unsafe situations and impact on their future employability and life choices
- Attendance at school is the responsibility of everyone in the community.
