Student resilience and wellbeing are essential for both academic and social development, and are optimised by safe, supportive and respectful environments. Schools share this responsibility with the whole community.
Our Student Wellbeing Team provides proactive and support programs to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. This collective group, which provides a holistic range of support services for all students, consists of:
- Guidance officers
- Chaplaincy service
- School Nurse
- GP In school (on Thursdays)
- Heads of Department for each year level
- Industry Liaison Officer
- Link & Launch for Year 13 and beyond
We also have a comprehensive Inclusion Support Team who work collaboratively with students, parents and the wider school community to ensure that students with diverse needs are able to access the curriculum and participate in learning and school life at BSHS.
