As part of our outstanding opportunities in this subject, BSHS has our own dedicated Dance Studio for Dance classes.
The Studio features a full wall of floor-to-ceiling mirrors to allow students self-observation and correction. There are both fixed and movable barre options to assist with developing student technique, and inbuilt projector and sound system for viewing of professional dance works. The room opens onto the backstage area of our Performance Space, which includes a fully equipped digital lighting rig, that students learn to use in order to enhance their choreographic and performance work. The Studio comes equipped with a Costume Wardrobe, that is updated annually with new additions to enhance the presentation of dance and drama pieces.
