Beaudesert SHS has 10 dedicated science labs, which also double as classrooms.
When in use as classrooms, students have access to the laptop classroom sets for online research and digital assignments. When used as a lab, our Science Operations Officers ensure that the room is supplied with the necessary equipment.
Our science classrooms come with all equipment needed to meet the requirements of the Australian Curriculum. Students engage in varied learning activities, including building vehicles powered by balloons, constructing rollercoasters to analyse forces, burn tests with Bunsen burners to identify chemicals, and using preserved species to learn classification.
