Our school grounds feature many green and restful spots for our students to sit and relax with friends.
Covered gazebos double up as places to eat lunch, or even as peaceful outdoor classrooms where students can enjoy fresh air and sunshine.
Many of our garden beds incorporate benches as part of the edging for extra seating during break times.
Not many schools can provide students with views of cattle grazing in nearby paddocks, or of the beautiful Scenic Rim mountains. We find that many students enjoy being closer to nature, and take advantage of the different opportunities, whether it is playing at break time on the ovals, visiting the Agriculture Department to interact with the animals, or just having their favourite shady spot under a tree where they meet up with friends while eating their lunches.
