Beaudesert State High School is proud to announce Scenic Offroad as a new community partner joining our 2026 sponsorship program. Owned by Larissa and Shaun Dunn, Scenic Offroad is a well-known local business with deep roots in Beaudesert and an equally deep connection to our school.
For both Shaun and Larissa, this partnership is a homecoming. Both are former students and Larissa later returned as a teacher! They now work alongside each other running a thriving off-road, 4X4 and camping business. Their store and workshop, located just a short five-minute walk from the school, has become a valued local hub for adventure gear and automotive expertise and they are an ARB stockist, supplying and installing quality 4x4 accessories, as well as 4x4 mechanical repairs.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to the growth and success of young people in the Scenic Rim. Scenic Offroad's proximity and strong local ties create meaningful opportunities for students to gain hands-on work experience, explore potential trade pathways and connect classroom learning to real-world skills.
Principal Troy Olsen says the alignment between a successful small business and a dynamic high school is stronger than people might imagine.
“Running a small business and running a high school are surprisingly similar," he explained. “Where Scenic Offroad serves customers, we serve students. Where they offer high-quality 4X4 accessories and camping gear, we offer high-quality education. Both of us are focused on helping people move forward, whether it's students planning their futures or customers preparing for their next adventure."
This shared purpose makes the partnership a natural fit.
Beaudesert State High School and Scenic Offroad both value community connection, local identity and providing opportunities that strengthen the region. The partnership reflects what makes Beaudesert unique: people who care about each other, invest in each other and work together to ensure young people have every chance to achieve their personal best.
