When Tiny Ideas Lead to Big Futures

Beaudesert State High School is proud to welcome Cottage Cabins as our newest community partner for 2026.

Cottage Cabins already has a strong connection to our school community, with a student currently attending Beaudesert State High School. Their decision to partner with the school comes from a genuine desire to give back while also helping address an issue many local businesses are facing, the growing shortage of skilled tradespeople.

The team at Cottage Cabins understand that young people need opportunities to see what careers beyond school can look like. By supporting the school, they hope to help open doors for students to explore pathways into trades and practical industries that are vital to our region’s future.

And what better classroom than a tiny house?

Building a tiny home requires the same trades, skills and planning as building a full-sized house, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, design and project management, just on a smaller scale. It provides the perfect real-world example of how multiple skills come together to create something tangible and valuable.

Partnerships like this allow students to connect classroom learning with practical application, helping them discover interests, build confidence and begin to imagine their future careers.

At Beaudesert State High School, we believe strong partnerships with local businesses help create stronger futures for our students.

The Cottage Cabins team are excited.
We’re excited.
And we can’t wait to see where this partnership leads.

Welcome aboard, Cottage Cabins. We’re proud to have you as part of our community for 2026 and beyond.
