Ski Trip 15-22 August

The 2026 Ski Trip is open to all students from Years 7 to 12. The trip is being organised now to allow more time for students and parents to raise the funds. A progressive payment system can be set up to make it easier for budgeting.

1. ITINERARY
  • Saturday 15 August - Depart Beaudesert: Travel overnight to Canberra
  • Sunday 16 August - Arrive in Canberra ½ day sightseeing, then continue on to Jindabyne.
  • Monday 17 August - to Friday 21 August- Skiing at Thredbo with two hour professional lessons each day.
  • Friday 21 August - Depart Jindabyne for Beaudesert.
  • Saturday 22 August - Arrive in Beaudesert.
2. COST $1825 which includes:
  • All Coach Travel
  • 5 nights accommodation at Siesta Villas in Jindabyne
  • Dinner and Breakfast - Sunday p.m. - Friday a.m.
  • Ski Hire – Helmet + Skis, Boots & Stocks or Snowboard & boots
  • 5 days of Thredbo lift tickets plus 10 hours of professional lessons
2(A) EXTRA COSTS.
Clothing can be hired - $56 both pants & jacket / $36 for pants or jacket (Students may be able to borrow ski clothing from friends/family or may own some.)
  • Spending money is needed for lunch and meals while travelling.
  • $14 for wrist guard hire – Snowboarders only – Mandatory must be worn.
  • $1825 paid prior to departure. Other monies paid while on tour

4. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • If you wish for your student to be included, please forward the consent form and a deposit of $75.00 to the high school prior to 17th Mar 2026. Students may make progressive payments at the school office, with payments due prior to 16 July 2026.
  • Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. Progressive payments are refundable if a student withdraws.
  • An information booklet will be available to all participating students prior to departure. This includes rules, ski safety, daily timetable and clothing requirements.
  • For the safety and well being of all students, drugs and/or alcohol will not be tolerated - if a problem does occur, both parents and the school will be notified immediately and the student sent home at the expense of the parents.
  • All current school fees need to be paid, before a spot on ski trip can be secured.
N.B. As we have not run a ski trip since 2022, the interest this year is greater than past years, therefore, first in best dressed. After the 40 places are filled, a wait list will be created.
