When the curtain rises on Under the Big Top, our audiences will be treated to an outstanding cast of Beaudesert State High School students who have spent months bringing this spectacular production to life.
Leading the cast is Year 10 student Hayden, whose passion for musical theatre has seen him not only take on the lead role in a production he helped conceptualise, but also achieve an incredible milestone during the school holidays.
Hayden has been accepted into the prestigious Queensland Academy of Excellence in Musical Theatre pre-tertiary program at Griffith University. Over the next year, he'll train every Saturday at QPAC alongside some of Queensland's most promising young performers before taking part in two major live performances.
But before that journey continues, our community has the opportunity to see Hayden doing what he loves most, supported by an exceptional cast of talented students who have poured their hearts into this production.
From the principal roles to the ensemble, backstage crew, musicians and production team, Under the Big Top is a celebration of the creativity, commitment and talent that exists right here at Beaudesert State High School.
